Time-Wasting Flash-Based Game of the Day

Posted by on Mon, Jan 19, 2009 at 12:22 PM

Sirtet is one of those Flash-based Tetris-a-likes that somehow consumes whole days of your life if you let it. The hook: It's like Tetris, but the blocks drop one at a time. You're supposed to make groups of four. If you wind up connecting more than four blocks of a similar color, the blocks ossify into a solid, unmovable barrier that stays on the board no matter what you do:

The worst part is, it connects to Facebook and so you can lose whole hours playing the game and then you can compare your score to your friends and then get very depressed at how poorly you did in comparison. Like Scramble!

Man, do I hate the internet.

...not so. As you complete quads around the solidified squares, they crack and after a few cracks they disappear.

Also, i am getting fuck-all done for the rest of today. Thanks, Paul.

We all hate the internet.

Remember that one episode of Start Trek TNG where they all got addicted to that game, with the headset thing? Yeah.
