This is a few days old but so totally worth it:

Former UFC heavyweight contender and professed anarchist Jeff Monson is now a wanted man in Washington state, but he doesn’t regret the spray-painted message he left on the state Capitol building denouncing the war in Iraq.

Monson, 37, told Sherdog.com on Thursday that he’d spray-painted the peace sign, the anarchy symbol, and the phrases “No war” and “No poverty” on multiple columns of the building on Nov. 26.

Monson, who is currently out of state on personal business, said he will convene with his lawyer on Thursday to coordinate turning himself into authorities. Monson expects to be released on his own recognizance. He said he plans to fight the charge and will not serve any jail time.

Monson said he’d planned the protest with “anarchist friends” on Nov. 26, but proceeded alone when they didn’t arrive. An ESPN photographer and writer, who were profiling the outspoken political proponent, documented the act, which appeared in a snapshot accompanying the article in the Dec. 29 issue of ESPN The Magazine.

I love it "coordinate turning himself into authorities".

Fuck just walk to the nearest cop and say "Hey! I'm wanted!"

You'd think this guy would have like at least a billion friends, but none of them could make it? Especially anarchist friends. If your anarchist friends say they're going to be there, they'll be there. I don't know what's going on here, but something is up.

Since when do anarchists show up on time?

Don't they all use sundials and hour glasses and ignore observe the time zones imposed on them by the federal railroad system?

This dude's an idiot. Hasn't he learned by now that you never rely on anarchists for anything?

I sat near him on a plane a few months ago. The man was so messed up from fighting he couldn't sit in his seat; rather, he had his knees on the floor and was trying to rest his upper body on the seat cushion. It was sad.

He was, incidentally, very nice to a fan that recognized him.

The money it takes to clean up his mess is money needed for health care and elder care, etc. We are free to protest and carry signs and scream at the top of our lungs if we see injustice. But I fucking despise assholes who spray paint property. I hope they fine the motherfucker major fucking money. Force him to do community service if he's so fucking concerned with poverty. A lot of it.

I don't get you people saying anarchists are unreliable. I mean besides this one incident.
