Whatever you think of Kurt Warner, you have to admit that Larry Fitzgerald is the most bad ass receiver in the NFL right now. T.O. is not fit to fetch his Gatorade.

Yeah 4 td's, 148 Quarterback rating, Comeback drive in 4th quarter, 3rd Super Bowl appearance, Zero ego! Way to go Kurt, you just cemented an induction into the hall of fame... And your buddy Fitzgerald will join you someday!
As a St. Louisan, I can't say anything bad about Kurt Warner. Except that he keeps beating the Rams.
I hate to say this, but I'm rooting for the Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl now.

Fuck YOU, man. Kurt should be more respected than that. He came a long way, going from stocking shelves at the supermarket and being on food stamps to taking the Rams all the way to the title. Not to mention marrying an older woman with two kids, one with a disability. And not to mention that this guy is one of the most humble players in the NFL.
I was a lifelong L.A. Ram fan and was sad to see them go to St. Louis, via Georgia Frontierre's skanless business moves. But I was among the many to still follow them. I was so glad that we finally got a Super Bowl, and that was all due to Kurt Warner.
I remember when Trent Green got hurt and I was like, "Oh fuck..." We were hoping for a good season finally and were excited, then that happened. But I swear, when Kurt walked up to take his first snap on the very next play, I could see a serenity about him, a calmness and quite confidence. This is no lie. It was like, I was reassured that everything would be alright.
As Will said, I am pulling for him to win, of course. Thing with me is, I would pull for Kurt when he played against the Rams, just to get back for what they did to him. I stopped following the Rams and the NFL after that loss to the Pats in the Super Bowl. I have my own doubts about that night that border on conspiratorial. The Patriots should not have even got past the Raiders!. But in a year where "Patriot" was the number one most important word, I don't know...
Anyhow, I will be watching my first NFL game in years because of a class act named Kurt Warner. In an era where people and the media focus on bad behavior, Kurt should be appreciated just as much.

I'm glad an NFC west team made it to the super bowl, especially since we're consistantly the worst division in the entire nfl but we've made it to the super bowl 2 out of the last 4 years.
Jesus is always with us...even in our darkest hours and all other times, we thank him first and formost. Thank you Kurt Warner for a wonderful game, may god continue to bless you, your family, the cardinals and all of us.

Don't like Warner nor do I like his whiny wife. Fitzgerald is amazing though. I'm a Pittsburgh gal and have been rooting him since his days at Pitt. I like McNabb too, and Philly doesn't deserve him. When you have a top 5 QB, you might want quit trying to boo him out of the city. It reminds me of pre-Super Bowl XL days here in Pittsburgh. The fans hated Cowher, who cosistently took their team to the playoffs. Now, that he is retired, he's got franchises beating down his door.
But I'm rambling... Love you Fitz, but let's go Steelers!!!

Go Cards! And yes fuck YOU lame stranger writer. The Cards have caught fire, watching Warner - Fitz is the most fun I've had watching sports since Golden State beat the Mavs in the playoffs. And I am a die-hard Seattle sports fan. So eat it! And FUCK Pittsburgh (they are a good team, but forever an enemy to seattle fans). I hope Zona brings the heat! And I hope Boldin quits whining and fucking plays his ass off!
kurt warner has more class in his little finger than any of you idiots with your f-ing mouths
and lack of education. none of you would have the brains or determination to REACH 1/100th
of the success that he has attained. his talent level is unmatched.
HE IS A GOOD MAN, A FAMILY MAN, A MAN WHO LIVES HIS RELIGION.
DO I DETECT A BUNCH OF JEALOUSY HERE?
GO KURT.

At least Big Ben made fun of Kurt's 'saviour' with his opening line to Bradshaw after the AFC Championship game. That was cool. Made me a Steelers fan for about two-point-three minutes. Now, however, I am back to realizing that I don't give a shit what fucked up beliefs any of these guys have.
I only know about them because I love football. In that respect, Warner is far more exciting a quarterback than Ben will ever be. Gotta go for the Cards in Tampa and just hit mute whenever Warner gets interviewed is all.
It is a small price to pay, I think. Plus, both Fitzgerald and Boldin have impressed me more than I thought possible this year.
I mean, Boldin: 40 fucking screws, eight plates in his face, and zero anesthesia. (Now, that deserves a...) JESUS CHRIST!
Re: Nolan Portillo's comment about the 2002 Superbowl:
At the end of Fox's pre-game show, the gang went down the line giving their predicted winner:
Jim Brown: "Rams"
Terry Bradshaw: "Rams"
Howie Long: "Rams"
Chris Collinsworth: "After 9/11 I would not bet against a team wearing the American flag on its helmet and calling itself the Patriots'"
Terry Bradshaw (jumping out of his chair) "They told you not to say that on the air!"
Then at halftime Sir Paul McCartney was asked who he thought would win. His answer:
"The Rams are definitely the better team, but wouldn't it be great if, after what has happened to America, the Patriots were to win?"
Nolan, you are not the only one who thinks the Patriots won SB 36 because it was "Good for America."
