Celeb "You know, I don't think you're Ricardo Montalban."

Ricardo Montalban's death (R.I.P., etc.) reminded me of my long-forgotten favorite Ricardo Montalban moment, which doesn't actually have anything to do with the actual Ricardo Montalban. It's when the Howard Stern Show prank-called George Takei, pretending to be Ricardo Montalban:

I just watched the original space seed TOS episode where Kahn first appears. That was definitely RM at his prime, not in the grey maned "CATS" style of the (crappy) early Star Trek movies. I mean, check him out here:

I don't believe the Stern show is actually responsible for this clip. They just play it all the time, and basically latched onto Takei after they heard it and realized he's a comedy goldmine.

The call was made by a DJ named Kid Chris, who is a longtime friend of The Howard Stern Show.

George Takei is the greatest! If anyone out there has Howard TV on On Demand, watch the "George Takei's Big Gay Bachelor Party". You will laugh forever!

Also, a big "HEY NOW" to 1, 3, & 4!
