Reality Check.

What no one on the left is saying about Gitmo closing is that it will take AT LEAST a YEAR before it is actually shut down. Better than nothing but I expect there to be "an unforseen issue" that causes that closing to be delayed even further.

So for a stoning a man is buried to his waist, but a woman is buried up to the neck? And under the law, if you're able to free yourself from the hole, you are set free? Wouldn't the difference in burials indicate that a woman will always die, but a man has a chance to get away?

Wow, the NY Times article actually DOES say several times that closing Guantanamo would take a long time. Those lying, misleading, secret-keeping bastards. Um...

The video is one version of an ancient agricultural dance done to pay tribute to the cycles of life and the harvest. That harvest stuff was pretty important. still is if I a'reckon rightly...
