Housekeeping Slog Happy! Thursday! At the Wildrose!

Come to the Wildrose at 6 pm on Thursday for the first Slog Happy of 2009!

The Wildrose was one of the 11 bars targeted in the ricin threats, but that will not stop us from gathering, drinking $2 wells, and eating corndogs and ~~tator~~ tater tots. Nothing keeps me from ~~tator~~ tater tots.

See you Thursday!

(I'm sorry I initially spelled tater tots as "tator" tots. I'm stupid. I regret the errer. [I meant to mispell error. That was a joke. Get it? Come to Slog Happy.])

@9 Actually, the last name is pronounced "ceiling."

So I didn't misspell "Selling," I totally fucked up "Ceiling."

Damn! I have never been to the Wildrose, and my boss is taking me to the Met for dinner. 10 years I have lived here and I have never been inside the rose. Momma didn't raise no fool.

I was unable to get served a pint there. After 15 minutes I had my girlfriend try ordering @ the bar. It then took 5 more minutes but pints were served. After getting dirty looks from half the bar we left our pints unfinished. Hopefully they've become a Hate Free Zone since then, as the sticker out front promotes.

18 brings up a good point. Do straight boys get served there? I don't want to reenact that time when my dad and his friend went into Rapunzel, not realizing what kind of bar it was.
