Compared to other goodbyes, it was a long one—more than 45 minutes—but apparently a classic performance:
Looking back over the long arc of his turbulent presidency, Mr. Bush was by turns impassioned and defiant, reflective and light-hearted. He confessed a litany of mistakes, cautioned Republicans to be inclusive and wondered aloud what it would feel like to make coffee for his wife, Laura, at their ranch in Crawford,Tex., on the morning after Mr. Obama takes his place one week from Tuesday.

The ranch will be up for sale in two weeks. The Bushes are going to live there, like fuck they are. It's not a ranch; it's a campaign tool, and no longer needed. Bush is a rancher in the same sense that I am a multiple Olympic Gold Medal winner. They're going to live in Dallas.

I haven't listened to it all, but did he really say he was disappointed that WMD weren't found in Iraq? Will he also be bummed if it turns out North Korea hasn't been pointing ICBMs at the Pentagon?

I want to slap this smug bastard across his monkey FACE! UGH. Is it just me or does he seem really shrug-it-off, I-don't-care, I-fucked-your-country-and-now-I'm-gonna-walk-away-scott-free? I hate the way he smacks his lips together and breathes really deeply, like he's thinking hard about it. All he can say is "Uhm" "Well" and "I don't know" Or the way he laughs when talking about Hamas, as if the decision is really theirs, or easy for them at all. What a rat-bastard. You can see the disdain in all the reporters faces, they're like "Are we actually here listening to this asshole?" I can't even watch it the whole way through.
