twitter_logo_s.pngSeriously.

Follow us to get the latest breaking news about ricin, shootings, debates over which is grosser: ketchup water or milk crust, and whatever else we feel like twittering or tweeting or twatting or whatever.

Yay, Y2K!

So, have you set standards for what is twitter-able? Will every post get a corresponding tweet? Are there rules? RULES PEOPLE.

Even if it kills me someday, like John Travolta's son not taking seizure drugs in the name of Elron, I will never, ever Twitter any godamned thing ever.

@4 There are no rules. Not yet. BUT! Not every post will be on Twitter. Breaking news, especially hot posts, videos featuring manty-hose... just some picks throughout the day with possibility for some extra entertaining content.

For example, at next week's Slog Happy, maybe I'll twitter some funny out of context quotes? I don't know. Twitter's weird. It'll be an experiment.

I wish people would stop shooting up with ricin.

The bodies leave such a mess outside the local hip-hop clubs!

Don't use Tiny URL for your tweets - use bit.ly, it's shorter: http://bit.ly/

If it becomes a crazy insight to what doesn't make it to slog, then I'm interested. If it remains a bunch of links to posts I have already read, no thanks.

Could people sign off with initials so we know which Slogger is tweeting what? Or will is almost/mostly be Megan?

@14 agree, it should be funny crap or things not already posted on slog (unless it's SUPER breaking newz~!!). everyone who will subscribe to the twitter already reads slog.

Lame!

I already use RSS to keep track of the SLOG.

@13 right. Actually The Stranger should just post their tweets from within bit.ly, much easier that way

Great concept @15. People posting twits should be either wearing underpants on their head or put their initials at the end.

Kind of like how I read a review from A.L. in the New Yorker and know 80 percent of the time he didn't see the same movie I did cause he's a twit.
