Ladies and gentleman, the new senator from Minnesota... can really do Mick Jagger's strut.

And Minnesotans want Coleman to concede the election already. (Video via Atrios.)

What is in the drinking water in Minnesota? First they vote for Jesse Ventura for governor. Now they elect a former SNL comedian to the senate.

Whatever it is, we need some here in WA.

I liked Nate Silvers' comment that Coleman's political career consists of 'losing to a wrestler, beating a dead guy, and tying a comedian'.

I voted for Coleman back in the '90s when he was the mayor of St. Paul (and a Democrat), but never again after that.

IIRC, Franken was a college wrestler.

And that clip is timewise a lot closer to college-Franken than Senator-Franken.
