Sarah Palin Blames Everyone in the World for Her Stupidity

Posted by on Fri, Jan 9, 2009 at 10:44 AM

If this is the start of her 2012 campaign (which is what it feels like), she's clearly trolling for the support of the type of righter-than-right fundamentalist wackos who'll believe the 1,001 deal-breakers in the Palin candidacy (including but not limited to home-state political corruption, meddling in police investigations, an obstinate failure to prepare herself for the campaign trail, and a gross lack of experience) were concocted wholly by the vast left-wing media conspiracy.

Good luck with that.

"Mama grizzlies" don't whine, Gov.

What's with the terrible makeup? Her face is about 15 shades off from her ears and neck.

Her only good point was she's equally qualified as Caroline Kennedy is.

Other than that, she'll lead the GOP into their 40 years in the wilderness, if they let them.

Could we please stop talking about her until at least 2011?

Because I still really want to kick her in the nuts ever time I see her pancake-makeup-ed-aging-Alaska-Barbie face. And the desire to kick people in the nuts is, like, uncool. And I. . . well, I AM uncool, but not in that mean-spirited kind of way.

Point being, STOP IT!

The gift that keeps on giving. I love this woman. And she definitely is the future of the GOP. I know this because they have no outreach, only the base, and the base loves her. Thank you, Sarah. Thank you.

Can we all agree to go to the Republican caucuses in 2012 and make sure she gets the nomination?

It would be like the SLOG caucus coverage this year, only we'd be snarky and condescending about all the mouthbreathers we'd meet.

She never watched the Katie Couric interview? OK.

I can't even listen to her speak. I know her stupidity bodes well for the Democrats, but it sends me into a rage.

It's too bad Ellen Craswell died. She would have made a perfect VP for Palin.

I still think we need to work our ASSES off to make sure she is the Republican nominee in 2012 and 2016. Seriously Democrats, we have our nominee already: We have to really make sure she gets the nomination. Then Obama can kick her white crystal-meth ass!

You really have to fucking kidding. Caroline Kennedy isn't exactly Einstein, but she is a rocket scientist next Sarah "Lord Make a Way!" Palin.

You can disagree with Kennedy as Senator, but let's not go off the deep end here...

I don't really have a problem with her as Gov of Alaska because I don't live there. They want Republicanism while living in a welfare state, fine. I didn't want her to be Vice President of the United States.

Oh Sarah. When you mention that you are a mother in every other paragraph, people are going to look at your children. When you bring your family into the ring, people are going to criticise them. If you left your family at the door, then they wouldn't be part of the conversation.

It's a sign of infantilism to blame everyone and everything for your own problems.

Democrats will be blaming Sarah Palin up until the electorate sees them for what they are: Incompetent.

When she campaigns against "the magic Negro", I expect to see records broken. 70% of the vote? 80%?

What is it that drives someone to believe the worst and perpetuate the worst in terms of gossip, lies...?

Sarah, it's quite simple. The Republican Party.

what a fucking tool. this appears to be part of a documentary about how the obama-media axis tricked people into electing him. nevermind that the democrats could have nominated a ginsu knife and still won after 8 years of bush. or that we're expected to believe the clintons and the republicans somehow failed to sniff out all dirt from his shady, shady past. nope, it's all due to a conspiracy. is she too fucking stupid to realize what she's aligning herself with here? apparently.

i fucking love this woman. more, please.

I love that she's upset that Couric and Fey 'exploited' her....and then this guy went and 'exploited' her by posting it on YouTube to promote his video sales. Classic.

Fool me once....

I for one want her to shut up, if she keeps up with her wack job responses, she is going to totally discredit herself by 2012 and thus sink her potential nomination. Better she save all that stuff up until she is the Rep. candidate, and then have her use this type of rhetoric against Obama, that would be awesome to see.

@14 - have you ever actually heard Caroline Kennedy?

I have.

I stand by my statement - they're both sufficiently old and they're both college graduates and they're both Americans born in the US. Equally qualified.

Growing up in the White House doesn't make you more qualified to be a US Senator.

shes hot and you all dont like that fact first and foremost. Hillary has a big ass and cankles. that is what you all want in a woman isnt it. free yourselfs from your self denial. admit you want cankles and celulite. although sarah has had 5 kids so i bet its pretty beat up down there.

I hope she gets destroyed in the primaries. Even if her campaign is a disaster ending in a 47-state landslide I don't think I can handle seeing her constantly for four months. The very sight of her face fills me with a terrible fury, and not a normal anger either: a deep, ancient, and primal rage normally reserved for the tribal enemy who killed your father, whom you must avenge at any cost.

Smarts are great and all but running for office, listening to people, negotiating etc are skills. I would vote for Kennedy over Palin but in terms of "experience" or "qualifications" they are similar. Kennedy is a shit choice for an appointment.

I would almost vote for Palin to protest the dynastic nature of the Democratic party. I would almost vote for anyone but Biden 2 for the same reason.

good point, daniel.

But that way leads to the dark side.

And that is why having Caroline Kennedy as a US Senator is much more preferable than having Sarah Palin as a US Senator.

The Republican primaries? Interesting to think about.

The GOP base totally eats up all this self-pitying blame against the MSM. Any primary opponent she has would offend the wingers by attempting to mention any of her most glaring defects: the lies, the corruption, the ignorance, the maniacal divahood. Her family. Illiteracy, incuriosity, incompetent governance. All off limits because the base loves her for these very things.

Her primary opponents will be left with nothing but to out-Palin Palin.

i LOVE it when this lady talks about "fighting corruption" against the republicans IN Alaska! she was in a job that she didn't want. she found a way to rat out a bunch of people so she could make the move away from the job looking like a HERO, when she's just as bad as they are! it wasn't because she wanted to "do the right thing" and "fight government corruption", she was just looking out for #1, which seems like her usual deal.

...oh, and never mind the fact that she's TOTALLY broken the law and overstepped her bounds with her political power. it's just ridiculous.

and for the last time...i GREW UP IN ALASKA! NOBODY THERE TALKS LIKE THAT! where did that RIDICULOUS ACCENT COME FROM!? i thought she was a born and bred Alaskan!?

...so glad i left.

Well, here the thing about Caroline Kennedy...she is NOT RUNNING for VP or president.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What Palin is trolling for a MUCH HIGHER POST! The highest post.
Caroline wants to be appointed a freshman! The comparison is ridiculous.

---and also Caroline is not a fruitloop idiot dingbat...like PALIN IS, lets face it Sarah, the media can´t make you stupid, only can DO that and it looks like you´ve done it AGAIN! Conga rats!, Sarah!

"Of course I read publications." Wow. Srtill, I think she's trouble.

The GOP works best as an "underdog", real or imagined, and Hannity, Limbaugh, etc. are already crowing about how the recession is Obama's fault! If they keep that up long enough and loud enough, Americans will believe it. Palin will have 4 years' worth of prep for the next election, and I'm already quietly terrified.

Her naivety is astounding. How can she understand so little about partisan media coverage in the USA? Her world is so small.
