I'm still thinking it'll be an announcement of government money pouring in to our state to help with our infrastructure which I suppose means the Alaskan Way Viaduct and the 520 bridge.
At least 3/4 of the money will be earmarked for more "studies." Because Lord knows we haven't studied the problem enough yet. /sarc.

Hmm... a reason to doubt that she's there getting viaduct and 520 bridge funds is that Obama is focusing on a stimulus plan (giving out tax cuts) possibly at the expense of dealing with infrastructure as previously hinted at.... not sure that that's a good thing.
But, anyway, cheers to Gregoire! Hope the brain drain won't hurt the state if she's indeed tapped for the O'ministration.

KUOW just reported that she's visiting National Guard troops in Iraq. My question is, why all the the drama and secrecy? And here I was panicking about the possibility of Governor Brad Owen. She owes me a night of sleep.
