According to the Minnesota Canvassing Board. The next question: does Republican Sen. Norm Coleman continue his fight or accept the canvassing board's decision?
If Franken was a Republican and Coleman a Democrat Slog would scream "YES, HE MUST TO DEFEND FREEDOM!!" but since Franken is a Democrat Slog will say, "No this is the will of the people"

If the Republican party does not accept this result of the genuine recount process, it will look like a sore loser, and worse, an obsolescent obstructionist.
Come to think of it, who cares what the Republican dinosaurs think? Good riddance to bad trash!
Well, if we learned anything in 2000 it is that the person who loses in a recount must step down for the sake of bipartisanship and to avert a constitutional crisis. Right? Maybe Coleman can try for a Nobel and an Oscar instead.
From the Dept. of False Equivalencies: to my knowledge, the Supreme Court has not weighed in to tell the Minnesota elections board to stop counting ballots. In this case, unlike in 2000, the recount process was allowed to continue to its legal conclusion. No constitutional crisis here.
I think he has the right to challenge the decision and request a second recount(as long as he pays). I even think the MN canvassing board should do a quick spot check on a few ballots to get a representative picture to make sure there weren't any double counted(although I agree the Coleman claim is weak).
I think what is stupid is suggesting that the election was stolen by the MN Supreme Court/canvassing board in anyway. (The WSJ apparently thinks so).
