Turn That Frown Upside Down

Posted by Eli Sanders on Sun, Jan 4, 2009 at 10:15 PM

SnowFrown.jpg

From J. Kraemer in the StrangrFlickr pool:

About 2 inches on the ground and its still coming down pretty heavy!! This is on my front porch... I had cleared it off about 45 minutes prior to this shot.

I really hope this is gone in the morning!

Forecast says... it will be.

Yeah, we need a return of the soggy piles of cardboard lining Denny up to the Hill. I need to be another 500 bucks in the hole with more weather-related damage to my car. Yeah, I need more time off work because really, who needs money? Eating, paying bills, and meeting the needs of my child - all of it is just so overrated.

rain by 5, no 7, NO - 9pm for serious this time, unless the snow lasts to 2 am, that is.

this kind of stuff frays the nerves of teachers like me.

Almost lost control over the car due to some jackoff motorist in front of me on the way home, check.

Lost power in the house for a couple of hours, check. At least I got to really listen to the Deerhunter's most previous album in a different context while in the dark.

I'm ready for this shit to be over with.

It's packed, and perfect for snowman making, snow. Too bad it'll be washed away soon. The streets are flooded with slush.

sorry, J. Kraemer, the snow is still here at 6am. the rain has not dissolved the snow, as was predicted.

and congratulation, slog, for finally attributing a photo in accordance with © law.

It's melting quickly in Renton / Fairwood. Get ready for potential flooding midweek.

Metro is ridiculous. the snow never solidified into solid ice, yet the 43 and 49 shut down last night. wtf?

@15, I saw a 49 stuck at the light at in front of the Egyptian last night around 10:30 -- those bendy buses can't make it in even the smallest amount of snow.
