Snow!

Posted by on Sun, Jan 4, 2009 at 3:03 PM

IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!!! Here's the forecast from the marvelously named Buzz Bernard—apparently the snow that's falling, faintly, now will turn to rain.

I heard people complaining bitterly at the end of SNOWSTORM '08, but I WANT MORE.

Sounds like a lot of rain for Seattle. Whoop-de-do.

Cliff Mass (http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/) confirms this.. suggesting perhaps some wet/war snow flakes followed by rain.

Clearly, folks who continue to say they "love snow" are hoping for enough so they can have a socially-acceptable way to get out of ending their holiday vacation.

Also snowing like mad on Queen Anne. There's a vehicle stuck at 5th N/Boston, as is tradition. So of course, Metro 3 & 4 are not making it to the top of QA.

Queen Anne Avenue is open but there's not a lot of traffic. Cars speed up and creep down, really.

Here's a picture from an hour or so ago:
