2008 Remember When We Cared About John McCain's Genitals?

The lobbyist who the New York Times alleged had an affair with John McCain is claiming the Times defamed her and is suing for $27 million. The story was published last February. At the time, the Times' public editor came across as feeling negatively about the story. Our public editor was probably against the story, too.
