Back in the 80's, at the University of Minnesota, little teenaged Sven would take his advanced mathematics course. And in the mens room, where he would take a leak, someone had scrawled on the wall:
"Fuck the Cruise Missile"
...which, children, was a great Ronnie Raygun invention for "limiting" a nuclear war to the 400m person European continent. Anywhoo, someone had changed it to
"Long live the Cruise Missile"
and then the final edit had changed it further to
"Long live the Tom Cruise Missile"
which little 14 year old Sven thought was the cleverest thing in the whole wide world. These college kids sure are witty, he thought.
So now I can't read anything about Mr. Excitable without simultaneously reliving my childhood, and thinking "Long Live the Tom Cruise Missile."
