Too Soon!

Forgive George is a website where namby-pamby apologists can forgive George W. Bush for being one of the two worst presidents in the history of America. Here is what it looks like:

ForgiveGeorge.jpg

If you try to do a fill-in-the-blank one without forgiving George W. Bush, it asks, in soothing blue letters, "Are you sure you don't want to forgive George Bush?" And then when you click through without forgiving George W. Bush—because only a tool would forgive George W. Bush for what he has done to this country, to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of innocents, to New Orleans, to the Constitution—you can read other people's forgiveness for things like:

I forgive
the asshole who cut me off on Peachtree St.

and

I forgive
my tiney miscreant penis..

and

I forgive
George Bush.

I forgive
Diane & James.

Oh, did Diane & James break your heart? How nice of you to forgive them! George W. Bush broke the fucking country!

In conclusion, I prefer So Long, Cowboy.

I'll never forgive anyone who voted for the guy, never mind the man himself.

Who was the other worst president? Harding?

We're the idiots that let him get elected two times, let him stay in office, declined to agitate more than once per season, failed to field and support candidates to beat him, and instead built a sense of community based on shared misery as though we were a bunch of inmates rather than a brigade of upright citizens. We relied on Obama to get tired enough of it to step up and plug into our wish to be brave for a change. That we rallied to him is not our doing, it is his. We are still just spectating. Where's the website to forgive each other?

@5, I think James Buchanan is worse than Harding. Polk and Pierce are also down there quite aways.

@5
I would guess James Buchanan. His actions essentially helped speed up the start of the civil war.

There is and shall be no forgiveness. He did exactly what he set out to do and has never confessed or admitted to his mean spirited and incompetent leadership. Many people have died needlessley. Many people are suffering today from what he has done. He really stinks.

I have to say that Forgive Bush is a better website than you give it credit for, Paul. The second forgive I got was a man forgiving his testicles for being so hard to shave. Any site where that happens is awesome.

I forgive the Republicans who voted for Bush in 2000, but voted against him in 2004. All the other Republicans can go rot in hell.

I will never be able to forgive the liberal losers who voted for either Al Gore or John Kerry...or hell...Bill Klinton.

History will be kind to President Bush one day.

He will be remembered as a great, or near great president.
