Ooh, a "rare blizzard warning along the Strait of Juan de Fuca." Cool!

Palin link (http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainme…) also notes:
"Michelle Duggar and her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, whose large Arkansas family is the subject of the TLC reality show 17 Kids and Counting, on Thursday welcomed their 18th, Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar.
"The ultimate Christmas gift from God," said Jim Bob, adding, "We both would love to have more."

Arkansas, Jim Bob, God, ........

Five paragraphs in to Seattle Times article: always looking out for the shoppers:

"Shoppers in Seattle can venture out until late in the afternoon, while residents in the Eastside and Cascade foothills should be prepared by midday, Colman said."

Fuck you, Seattle Times.

I like the other morning news better. This one doesn't have any gaarg.

I hope this one ends up in a jell-o filled kiddy pool, Aaron

Did Paul Allen get Ponzied by Madoff, or can he not afford the $7 million to install solar panels at Qwest Field?

Nickels is just an embarrassment. He's not even funny at this point.

I believe the summary should read "The bastard is due today".

When, oh, when, will the son of the drug fiend/lord make an honest woman out of poor Bristol Palin? Does he really want his misbegotten child to be a bastard?

@9. Glad you are reading this. I'll try to be more civilized. My opinion is that it is pathetic to promote consumerism in an article about the weather while so many Americans are in severe debt.

Megan is much cuter, so I think she wins this one.

Allen doesn't own the building, hence he cannot install a solar array on it. That has to be done by the landlord.

But you'd think he could pony up some dollars toward it. He has a bazillion year lease or something.

Somebody over there, go see "Seven Pounds," then try to top A.O. Scott's review:
"Frankly, though, I don’t see how any review could really spoil what may be among the most transcendently, eye-poppingly, call-your-friend-ranting-in-the-middle-of-the-night-just-to-go-over-it-one-more-time crazily awful motion pictures ever made."

@11,

Well, I find it useful. I need to get groceries and I'd rather finish before the storm starts.

The headline I'm waiting to see: "City Light Cuts Power to 225,000 Customers in Anticipation of Storm"

That's the nice thing about City Light, DP. We're not nearly that organized ;-)

But if you want power failures, you just might get them. I don't know how the line trucks will be able to navigate most of the streets. Did I mention I'm leaving town?

Hey all, we had some confusion about Morning News duties today. Due to popular vote (i.e., more people commented on this one), Megan's stays up. Intern Aaron Pickus will return tomorrow.

But I commented on this one to say I like the other one. Where is the gaarg?

Stop oppressing me.

The Morning News is one of my favorite features and I wouldn't mind if it were longer. I think an evening news around five-ish would be cool too.

Unpaid interns can't get no respect.
