And for those of you who aren't fortunate enough to be working from home, here's Metro's adverse weather information chart.

well light rail should clear all these issues - except, well, all but the center of cap hill.

God Metro fucking sucks. This week has my wife rethinking her busing to Seattle plan after two of her buses just plan didn't come at all. It sucks to drive in snow around here but waiting for buses that never come is worse.

Too bad Seattle didn't implement an actual transit plan in the 90s when everyone was flush with cash, everyone wanted to live here and the city was in the National spotlight.

I agree with fuck this. Metro even fucks-up its cancellations list. You wouldn't know it by reading the list, but the No. 10 was cancelled, too. So the 10 and 11 are cancelled, and the 43 is rerouted to turn around at Aloha. What a way to serve the region's densest hood.

I understand that hills cause the need for reroutes, but if that's the case, why bother putting chains on buses that run on steep hills, if they're only going to be shut down during a snow event anyway? The 10 and 11 both were chained on dry pavement yesterday, but today when it actually snowed, they had to be cancelled. What's the fucking point?

The worst of it is that Metro can't even be bothered to update rider information concerning cancellations or reroutes, even at busy stops downtown and even hours after the cancellations have taken place.
