Always Be Closing

Posted by Brendan Kiley on Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 11:24 AM

From Slog tipper kb:

Received a letter yesterday from Seattle Theatre Group informing me that Degenerate Art Ensemble's Mar. 7 production at The Moore has been cancelled "due to challenges they are experiencing through this tough economic period." I'd bought the tix as part of a subscription package - refunds are being automatically issued.

Every Theater group I am working with is having a terrible time. It is fucking depressing.

Fuck. :(
I take it this is the Degenerates issues not the Moore's? (Post could be clearer)

@ 5. Sorry, the Slog Tip was vague. I've got emails out now and will let you know when I know more.

Joshua of Degenerate Art Ensemble here. Yeah. we have had some funding fall through, but JUST TODAY we were offered HALLOWEEN weekend at the Moore and this means we are going to make an even better show (more time to develop and raise funds) AND... WE are going to throw a huge Halloween Party at the Moore on Saturday Night after the show. So spread the word. It will be worth the wait. Our most sincere apologies to those of you (and there were a good number) who already bought tickets for the March dates (THANK YOU! :) - you will be refunded if you have not already been. Degenerate Art Ensemble: SONIC TALES: October 30th and 31st. Party after the show on the 31st. You heard it here first.
