Man Shot Outside Garfield Community Center

Posted by on Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 10:37 PM

Seattle police are searching for four men believed to be involved in a shooting which took place outside of the Garfield Community Center earlier this evening.

According to SPD spokeswoman Renee Witt, two groups of men got into an altercation outside of the community center around 7pm. "Words were exchanged," Witt says, and one man was shot in the face.

The man ran inside the community center where he collapsed. He was taken to Harborview where he is in critical condition. Gang unit detectives are investigating.

This is the second shooting near Garfield High School in the last three months.

Yet people are lying about where they live to get into Garfield High School. Stupid. Having lived next to Garfield for over ten years I can assure you the school is a haven for gangsters. Crime is up huge when school is in session. If I do not get my mail right after it is delivered I will never get it. During the lunch the students pack into nearby homes and get high.

My favorite is the mothers who show up AFTER the shooting to "do the right thing". Guess when the time to do the right thing was, mothers?

Blacks don't have any need of "white racism" or the KKK to "keep them down". They do an awesome job of that all by themselves.

This is really fucked up. Both my fiance and my future sister-in-law work at Medgar Evers pool. It sucks to have to fear for their safety on a daily basis because some baby-dicked gangbangers have to solve every dispute with gunfire.

So can I get outraged now, or do I have to wait until white people get shot?

I think any bar should be able to block the presence of any school or church within 500' of its property.
