Snow in the Mountains

Posted by Eli Sanders on Mon, Dec 15, 2008 at 10:55 AM

I don't know about the ski-able ones, but the mountains I saw this morning got a nice dusting over the weekend:

Wonderful views of all the mountains today, especially to the north.

Wow...nice. I don't know if I've gotten a view of the Olympics with that much definition. Course my camera probably sucks compared to yours.

@2 Thanks. But I didn't need a fancy camera today. I just used the zoom on one of The Stranger's digital cameras—a Canon PowerShot.

I've lived here my whole life and never remember seeing that much definition on the Olympics either. It was amazing driving down Jackson this morning and seeing those mountains. Oh that we could see them like that more frequently. One almost forgets they're there.

@3

I curse the day that I decided to go for the less expensive Olympus that didn't have manual focus or lens options. Impressive that you were able to get it.

I like my Canon PowerShot too. This will be my new wallpaper until I see something better.

Cascades looked pretty good, too.
