Tiny Seattle snowfalls like this make my old blizzard instinct kick in. It makes me want to go out and buy frozen pizzas and oreo cookies and rent movies, and then stay inside the whole weekend.

It's snowing fat chunks up here in the north end and it's been going like this for about an hour.

Pics or not true.

Lalalalalalalala, nottruenottruenottruenottrue.

Fuck!

Well, everyone can pretty much forget going anywhere for the next several days, if this plays out as predicted, since we're all going to be living in a big ole' ice rink until the cold weather snaps.

Again, I say - FUCK!

Its fun now. But wait till it all freezes. Then the streets will turn in to skating rinks, and the city will shut down. It is supposed to stay below freezing for most of the week. This will be a nightmare if you need to go anywhere.

My mom was a doctor at Children's, and every time there was a big snow they would get a bunch of kids in the emergency room who went sledding but didn't really know how, because Seattle doesn't get serious snow, and they would scalp themselves on the license plates of parked cars.

It's blowing up against my window and is coming down pretty steadily again-- it sounds like there's some ice in there. Streets ought to be fun tomorrow/today!

12 and 14. If we had competent city leaders that wouldn't be a worry. Much bigger cities get around just fine in conditions that are much worse. If ugly, overpriced condos or plastic bags were involved, then something might happen
