2008 The Obama Rescue Plan

A Slog tipper sends in this account of the president-elect (indirectly) bailing out a University of Washington sauna cruiser:

We were both in the sauna around 7:30pm. You were very hot and over in the corner. I think you caught me looking at you, I think other people caught me looking at you too, I kinda got hard and had to read about Obama's infastructure plan to stop it. While we were in there another guy starting playing techno music on his ipod loud enough for everyone to hear.

Jesus god, an ipod in the SAUNA? Shouldn't be allowed. Neither should erections.

I'm always curious about unwanted erections in men's saunas, showers and locker rooms -- as it would be clear as day if someone was aroused or for whatever reason (temperature differences, post-workout hormones?), simply erect. Easy to control and make go away, or super awkward nightmare scenario?

When faced with an unwanted erection in a public place, I think of dead dogs and ugly naked grandmas, but I guess an infrastructure plan could work...

There's this one guy locally who spends his whole time in the sauna tapping away on his PDA. Incredibly irritating.

Judith, usually the fear and mortification of a public erection is enough to prevent a full hard-on. Embarassment is a major turn-off for most guys. So usually if a guy is getting hard in public, he's got an exhibitionist streak.

I agree with boxofbirds.

Every time I read the Obama infrastructure plan, I start thinking about Michelle Obama and I get really excited.

Either it's that or my long-ago work in building roads, bridges, train routes, and airports.
