This site, says one of our tech guys, makes him want to "quit the internet entirely." DO NOT GO HERE. It is called "1 Man 1 Jar" and it's WORSE than that two-girls-one-cup video. Much, much worse. You have been warned.
From what I was told, I imagine it's horrible. But at the same time, reading the description was hilarious. I'll preserve the charm and won't watch it.

The thing about 2 girls 2 cup is you could see the joy involved. They were so happy to be doing it! They were squeezing the poo between their lips like I did with Dairy Queen soft serve as a kid! 2 girls 1 cup was about seeing two people thoroughly enjoying something most of us thoroughly don't.
@10...And then it breaks and he fishes out all of the pieces while blood is pouring out...disgusting!!! Should have listened to you Dan, but I couldn't resist.

PLEASE just tell me what happens in it. You can't just tell me not to watch and then not say what happens. That's basically like forcing me to watch so that I'll know, because I MUST KNOW.

Ha, if you think this is bad, wait till you see the Russian HAMMERTIME video. If you can watch it to the end, you're pretty much not human. It has been all over the chans for a few days, which means that it should be discovered by the rest of the interwebs in a day or two.
The sounds are the worst. The pop of the jar as it bursts, the tinkling of the glass as he fishes chunks of jar out of his ass, the spatter of the blood hitting the floor... going to hurl now.

You know, there comes a point in everyone's internet experience when you dare the internet to shock you. You click on anything that you see, thinking "how bad can it be" or "they can't REALLY post something that bad... right?" When you play chicken with the internet, you always lose.
I've had that time in my life. I've seen things I can't even believe. It's destroyed my soul. Now I'm at the point where I just don't click on things like this. I Just don't want to anymore. Even mild things like people crashing their motorcycles or breaking their arms by wiping out on a skateboard. I'm just done with it and honestly not curious anymore.
I may or may not be a better person because of this. I'm not sure. It's confusing.
Hm, in fact, Beaker video #2 from the Morning News would work quite nicely as a soundtrack. If the breaking glass sound could be lined up just right... Yes, someone get on that, please.

I clicked on the link, but watched only the first few seconds. I thought he was going to poop in the jar (and then maybe eat it). Apparently, that would have been tame compared to what actually happened.

@24. I can't wait until I hit my wall. I know it's coming soon, and I'm breathlessly anticipating it. I'm going to light candles and thank the gods when it happens.
@26. I didn't watch all of it either. I saw him sit on the jar and I saw it break. I clicked on another tab, expecting to hear something (a cry for help? weeping?). I heard nothing, and clicked back and there he was pulling chunks of glass out of his . . . oh god.
I clicked on another tab and listened to his silence and the sounds of glass falling/dripping to the floor. This is something I can't ever unsee or unhear.
That's all.
Dan Savage, you are a bad, bad man. I will read your blog until you retire.
For the record: I started the video, said to Brian, "The jar breaks, right?" and the second it did... I closed the site. Not interested. Never watched "2 Girls, 1 Cup." Not interested in seeing this through to completion.
Oh, and: the scars on his ass? Evidence, perhaps, that he's done this before, and is doing it on purpose. Also, I'll betcha he's straight.
Ugh.

@24 I'm with you. I've seen enough horrifying things that turned my stomach. And those images never leave you... I feel a level of innocence irreparably revoked by this kind of thing.
I haven't watched it, and won't, but I call shenanigans. Sounds like it wouldn't be impossible to fake, and c'mon: guy has gaping open wounds in his anus but manages to keep from getting a horrific infection? What, he manages not to produce any fecal waste for two weeks?
Five years ago, my friend mentioned a "tub girl." Against his pleadings, I watched it. Whenever I'm tempted by something like this, I remember that moment. When Cassandra cries, don't be a Trojan.
That is the most horrible thing I've seen since I saw Dick Cheney smile. I can't write a proper sentence. I must be in shock. Who would post that? And why?

thanks, describers. curiosity about one episode of human depravity/stupidity satisfied without etching brain.
but... yucca, what kinds of things do people put in their bodies that have to be removed by medical professionals? is there anything that shows up again and again?

20 years ago, I sat watching cartoons on Saturday morning with no idea of alcohol was and a constant urge to play with my cock (ie horniness)... At 27, I am horrified, REALLY hung-over and no longer horny. Thanks Dan! You rock.
did anyone watch the end of it>? I stopped after the blood gushes out? Does it get worse?
The most horrific thing about this is that it actually WAS an accident. How do I know? It's been shortened.
There is a certain website on the net which has the full version of this video. What you missed in the abridged version was the most horrifying scream of "NO!" after the poor guy stands up and walks off screen.
I guess at that point he had realized the full reality of the situation: He'd just broken a mason jar in his intestine, and was either about to have the most embarrassing ER visit ever, or simply die.
I've seen all of the videos out there except for "Hammertime" really, and this one damaged me the most.
@64, http://pysih.com/2008/12/07/the-dneprope…
It's not the video, which I didn't watch... From what I read, don't watch it! But you can read about it, and that will only make you hate mankind half as much.

Oh, and this quote is from someone who watched it... In other words, don't watch.
"I have watched every mainstream shock video on the internet and never even flinched. I watched this and had to back away from the computer screen. Never in my life has something been that absolutely horrific to me....That took the bar on ****ed up **** and set it on the moon. I can't even put into words how I feel about it, it was just horrible, beyond horrible. How anyone could do that to another human being just absolutely blows my mind."

Holy shit. I looked this up. IT IS BAD and then some (didn't watch video only read description). I didn't find any mention of it from legit news sources which made me hope it is a hoax.......... although that sounds like wishful thinking
Hmmm..... I couldn't find any mention of this horrific event (regarding the Hammertime video or the murders it captures) from any newssource- even looked on Russian and Ukranian news websites. The link given above has posts from people who claimed to watch the video. Yet, why is there not one f-ing mention of it from ANY news media, even ones in the Ukrane, where is was supposed to have taken place????
Good point Sam. I don't want to watch videos like that, so I haven't seen it. It's obvious that it exists, but the news stories about the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs all seem to be second-hand. Weird.
There's no wikipedia entry for them either, which is interesting considering that spree-killers almost certainly qualify as notable figures. Hmm, I'll keep looking around, but I'm a little confused by the lack of information online about such a heinous crime.

Here's a link to a russian english-language report. The trial's not set until May so the details still appear to be unofficial. There is no violence in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTVWNj0Cb…
