Is this why when I say no to a panhandler it sets them off on a long rant? And when I get on the bus with my kid the bums start shouting parenting advice at me? Well, let's get them showers, please.
I know lots of clean people who are a bunch of judgemental shit holes. They think that just because they have gone to all the work of being clean, then they get to down others who don't have the time to groom themselves. Clean people are just as judgemental as everyone else, if not more so.
I am a clean person, while perhaps tidiness is not always my strong suit. I am also very judgemental about public hygene. I will always think significantly less of a person when they don't wash their hands in the bathroom. I also tell others when a person doesn't wash their hands. Not only does it help inform them on that person's character/hygene but it lets them know that I will say the same thing about them should I find out that they don't. It's not that I am a complete slandering asshole, I just believe in personal responsibility for the prevention of potential spread of disease and if you make yourself a threat to the comunity then I will warn and chastise as nicely as possible.
I have also let at least three lovers go for this reason alone! Who doesn't have bathroom soap or hand towls!!!???
P.S. and it really is a big deal. If were on a date and I suspect you, I will monitor everything you touch. everything. It really kills the mood.
I can't define "clean". Does it mean odor free? Oil free? I know it means "dirt" free. For example, a sexy aroma from a natural armpit might be labeled unclean by someone else. I shower daily, but I wouldn't call someone who showers every other day unclean. Also, I carry a wet towelette and never press public buttons with bare hands. I use a leather key ring to push buttons on elevators and ATM machines, etc. But I wouldn't call people who use their hands on public items unclean. I would call them germ spreaders. Is that judgemental?
