Tomorrow Night

Posted by on Mon, Dec 1, 2008 at 11:57 AM

The Seattle Art Museum's contemporary art council has asked me to moderate a panel tomorrow night at the museum, based on the two-venue group show Dualities. It's me and three artists, Adam Satushek, Perri Lynch, and Allan Packer. There will be pretty pictures, so please come even if you haven't seen the show.

What are we going to talk about? This hotel pool

and this Titian (Sacred and Profane Love)

Starting at 7.

To this day I cannot see a Titian without picturing Dan Ackroyd saying "Tit-ian. I kid you not. T-I-T-I-A-N" - and then I giggle. I have giggled in galleries around the world, and I am giggling now.

Don't get me wrong, that's a great picture of a broad on a couch.
