Reading Tonight

After this past slow weekend, there are a whole lot of events going on tonight.

Up at Third Place Books, Peter Greenberg reads from his travel book about where not to travel.

There are two events at Town Hall. The author of a book about Andrew Jackson, who is at once one of our best and most horrific presidents, reads. There will be a suggests coming up about that one here on Slog any minute now, so I'll leave it be. There will also be a discussion on healthcare reform and electronic health records, which could be highly illuminating. Or deadly dull. But online health records will be affecting you personally in the years to come, so you should at least think about going to this one.

And at Elliott Bay Book Company, Riki Ott reads from Not One Drop: Betrayal and Courage in the Wake of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. Exxon Valdez is still not cleaned up, and we are all to blame.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here.
