Obama to Lieberman: "About Face!"

Posted by Charles Mudede on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 2:28 PM

Now he sees the light:

HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman took another step Tuesday toward mending his relationship with Democrats, saying that Barack Obama's actions since winning the presidency have been "just about perfect."

"Everything that President-elect Obama has done since election night has been just about perfect, both in terms of a tone and also in terms of the strength of the names that have either been announced or are being discussed to fill his administration," Lieberman said during a visit to Hartford.

Lieberman is a survivor to the max.

Anyone looking for Sen. Lieberman's balls can find them in the upper left hand drawer of Rahm Emmanuel's desk. He can get them back only after he's said he's sorry!

He's hiding those balls in those immense jowls - seriously, Huckleberry Hound or what?

wait a minute, isn't it actually a BAD thing if Joe thinks everything Obama has done so far has been "perfect"?

if joe thinks the choices are perfect, then there's really no hope for progressives to get tossed a bone in the cabinet selections. not even drug czar.

I'm still giving to whoever runs against him.

And writing postcards to get rid of him with some Jewish friends of mine.

Epic Fail!

I too will give generously and often to whoever runs against Senator Droopy Dawg in '12. Regardless of party or ideology. I just want Lieberman to go the fuck away. Permanently.

This is less about Lieberman and more about the fact that Obama's picks to run our foreign policy (no Iraq war opponents) and to run our economy (Wall Street insiders who favor bailouts and partly got us in the mess we're in today) are in line with Lieberman's politics.

DROFTRAH, Conn. — Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman took another step Tuesday toward increasing his political capital with Republicans, saying that John McCain's actions since winning the presidency have been "just about perfect."

"Everything that President-elect McCain has done since election night has been just about perfect, both in terms of a tone and also in terms of the strength of the names that have either been announced or are being discussed to fill his administration," Lieberman said during a visit to Droftrah.

Obama is turning out to be a real piece of shit. I read the republicans love Rahm Emanual, and Lieberman is impressed with the rest of the picks. At least a black president has the same right to fuck this country over like his white predecessors, but with a style and charisma not seen. Hopefully Obama will do better than the first African American secretary of state, or the first female head of the senate, ol “Impeachment is off the table” Pelosi. Thank God Pelosi allowed Bush to finish his last term!

@18 You really add a great deal of positive energy to the debate. Nobody will please you.
Cleaning up after Republicans is always a monumental task considering they could hold up or stop any progress toward that end. Have you ever hired anybody to do a difficult and complicated job? Would you hire an unexperienced novice? Look, Lieberman has power. The Republicans have power. If you don't tap into your strengths to solve your problems, where to then?

I am sure the militant Zionist running Obama's administration are going to have policies that are so extremely different from the militant Zionists who ran the Bush administration.
