As Lyndon Johnson used to say, better to keep your enemies in the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.

Or put another way, do we want Lieberman voting Yes to reach 60 votes for cloture, or No to defeat it?

Let's grow up and move on.

Lieberman has got some dirt on some high-profile Dems. Nothing else makes sense.

Let's take a minute and ask ourselves, why do we need 60 votes to get anything done in the Senate? Have the Republicans actually been forced to filibuster anything in the last two years? Or has the mere threat of a filibuster cowed the spineless Democratic 'leadership' into acquiescence? And if the latter is the case, what do we really expect to change in the next two years?
