Is the bruising caused by gravity or by justifiably-disgusted domestic abuse?

now that i've read about her, i find that it was in my hometown of Cincinnati that she had her artistic epiphany. she was inspired by the legions of the morbidly obese who populate that shithole.

Yeah, Jackie @5. Fat people totally deserve to be beaten. That totally makes sense.

Awesome painting -- probably my favorite of the works of art you've linked to on Slog so far. Thanks for posting! And ignore the idiots.

Aristotle said this about the representation of reality in art: we might be disgusted by the real object as it exists in the world, but we are attracted by its representation in art if it is done well. I too find these paintings beautiful, but only aesthetically so. An actual person with this shape is unpleasant to me. But I do find **the paintings** beautiful.

she was attracted to painting obese people because they had colors that only fat-carrying flesh could have, such as different kinds of blues, greys etc. Personally, I can find beauty in almost everything and its sad to see people who can only see them as ugly or disgusting because of the media.
