Religion Look Who's Preaching, Too!

Ted motherfucking Haggard has remounted the pulpit in Illinois, and he pinned his gay meth hobby to being molested as a child..

Haggard declined to be interviewed this week following a report saying he preached two sermons Nov. 2 at Open Bible Fellowship Church in Morrison, Ill., at the invitation of the senior pastor, a longtime friend. Audio of the sermons was up on his Web site, www.tedhaggard.com, Wednesday morning, but by afternoon the site was down.

In his sermons, Haggard said he was molested at age 7 by a person who worked for his dad. He linked that incident to his sexual relationship with the Denver prostitute and his use of crystal meth.

Yeah, but how many people will believe him? Where was the molestation story when his meth-snortin', power bottom ass was all over the national news?

"In addition to giving sermons, Haggard also went on appointments during his visit to Illinois to sell life and disability insurance for Mortgage Protection Group, for which he works as a salesman, Byrd said."

I feel sorry for the guy. He really needs some counseling. I would suggest not from someone of the ordained kind.

last i remember hearing, he and his wife were studying to become psychologists. i read that here. but he switched to insurance sales. much more appropriate for him, imo.

so, molestation as a child results in a gay hypocrite? huh. so what explains all those many, many other guys who were molested/raped as children who became neither?

Dammit. I was molested for years and I've never had crystal meth or a male prostitute. Now I feel extra gypped.
