When you guys are done with Gay Rights, can you cover something important like the fact that they canceled my second favorite show from this year, "Easy Money".

Esther, I guess it's not as subtle as Religious people's mottos which leave the important, potentially offensive bits off. Like: "Jesus loves you [but not all of you]" and "God is love [, although love is in this case defined as between one man and one woman, both aged 18 and over, even though it wasn't always that way, and still isn't in some states]"
I don't think there's a problem with being blunt.

I'm most impressed by the fact that every state protested the states that voted for hate today and so did some other countries. No matter the numerical turnout.
And that's MUCH more than 40 in that photo.

Ironically, the street that crossed the middle of the NYC rally's "corral" was named, honorably, "People with AIDS Plaza." There was a lot of cheering for passing tourist busses, but otherwise, not the greatest rally ever.
@1, When you are done with Troll Rights, can you cover something important like the fact that they canceled my second favorite show from this year, "Fuck My Ass".

Thank you for commenting back, however, it may interest you to know that, although I am Christian, I have never held a sign using the term "fag" or anything else as slanderous. . . in fact, I have never said the word nor considered using it to describe another human being. Thanks for bundling me up with the rest of the Christian group and assuming I'm a "gay-hating bigot". . . which was my issue in the first place with the sign.
Although I have a firm, personal position on Prop 8, I find it useless for EITHER side to be hateful or mean spirited. When I commented that his sign wasn't helpful, I wasn't being snide about the movement in general (I'm sorry if it came off that way), rather I become sincerely frustrated when humans are mean-spirited toward each other. I think in this case, I have felt like the gay community bears more responsibility to act tolerant (yes, even of the religious nuts) having often been targeted and blamed themselves. I become just as ticked off when I see someone supporting Prop 8 who's basis of conviction is from ignorance, judgment and hate.
