Here's a gem from a few seconds in, when Palin explains whether the margin of Obama's victory surprised her:
You know, it did, I thought that it would be closer, but then, taking a step back and being able to consider why it was at the margin was as great as it was, it makes sense.

Funny, I feel the same way about her as I do about G.W.Bush. Listening to either of them speak is like nails on a chalkboard while simultaneously having onion juice squirted into my eyes. And since there's a 98% chance that if her lips are moving it's a lie I figure why put myself through it.

By the way, the key her lying is the inflection she puts on "you know" to start her responses as if to say, "I know you don't believe me but this is my story and I'm sticking with it..."

She took no responsibility whatsoever for the loss. Does she not realize that maybe, just maybe part of the reason for their loss was that she is a complete idiot? No, lets blame everyone and everything else.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about Wardrobegate. It's really embarrassing that the October Surprise was about someone's clothes. I thought it was stupid when it was about John Edwards's haircut, too.

She is all over the map in her responses these days...
From the PI ... In an interview with the Anchorage Daily News, Palin faulted the policies of the Bush administration for the defeat of the GOP ticket, and said, "it's amazing that we did as well as we did."
Also, watching this video she's gone back to her old self, listen, the fakey over-played mid-west accent is gone and she's back to the hint of mid-west she's always had.

Part of me wants her to stick around, because of the entertainment value and because I think there's a distinct possibility that she could splinter the Republican party. But, the other part just cannot stand listening to her shameless lies.

I honestly think all of us Obama fans need to make sure she is the Republican nominee in 2012. I could not think of a better candidate for the GOP.

I'm not joking; we already have Obama who will run in 2012, let's make sure he picks up a few more states for his re-election bid. We need to switch parties for the primaries and vote in droves for Palin. Even give her a few bucks. The last thing we want is the GOP to nominate someone competent.

Sorry to piss on your hate parade, but this interview makes her a much more sympathetic character. Too bad it does not juxtapose these comments with the hate she spewed at her rallies.

With her passing out of presidential campaign politics, a sad chapter in our political history is over.
Except she will rise like a zombie to ravage, again, our national consciousness someday.

What she's saying at 1:35 is basically that the McCain camp had a lot of faith in the Bradley effect, and coasted on it. Fucking stupid assholes.

You know, kind of, but also there was the feeling that not really and the faith in the change, also. What the people were, you know, looking for an incumbency change, and what's great, is in this country, we can say yes, we don't kind of, you know, as a maverick, you welcome surprises. Because John McCain, bless him, yeah, I have faith that for the American people, on the issues, having spoken, we did have a great result, but knowing ahead you do expect a big change, you know, there's hope.
