And see, this IS kind of the point. I mean, all of the cynical-hipster-"too smart to play the political game" twentysomethings. . . fine, you can be too cool to stoop to voting for one of these icky career "public servant" people on the ballot, but your dumbfuck fellow Americans? They'll vote, and they'll vote for the WORST icky career "public servant". So, vote not because you believe you can make the world a better place, but because you believe you can make it a better place than THAT guy can. Thanks.

It's an excellent ad. The weird thing is, after all the over-the-top hilarity (all very funny, it's true), the final comment brought tears to my eyes.

Any word on who made this? I'd like to believe they're all scripted, but what makes it hilarious is that they might...not be scripted. And as a devoted Tar Heel born and bred, I can say so. But I really really hope they're scripted.

Whether or not it's scripted, don't be deluded into thinking that people such as those portrayed WON'T be voting. Add a sane mind to the polls, if you have one. Please? No, fuck "please": VOTE!
