He titled his article "interesting times" but since he chose to use a chestnut, it might be better termed "strange bedfellows". Is he glad that Obama will "save Wall Street" ? Or should I like McCain more because he took a position different from Conservatives? Whose position was originally that of Liberals? There are things that need to be done. Increasing the money supply and inflation mainly. For 30 years the bottom ranks have been starved. It's time to level the playing field. No candidate says that. Bush is doing it.

"Increasing the money supply and inflation"? What does that even mean? Do you want to increase inflation? Because that's what increasing the money supply MEANS, without a concomitant increase in value. You are a perfect Republican; you haven't got a clue what's going on, but you know that YOU WANT MORE PIE.

#2: The problem is that there isn't enough capital at the bottom. Thus we create arcane financial instruments to create "vapor capital". We need to get more dollars into the hands of more people. We need to fund the alternative energy and next generation semantic web technologies. Inflation (with a concomitant increase in wages) is an answer.

John, just because you use polysyllabic words doesn't mean you know what the hell you're talking about.
