They were all undercover condo developers? No, it's that after the cast of the latest season of MTV's long-running reality show arrived in our fair city, they discovered they'd have to share their ugly-ass luxury dwelling with people from their pasts who had done them harm—exes, former friends, relatives, etc. Which means the show will consist of a bunch of people from out of town making a big, loud public display of arguing with a bunch of other people from out of town while people from Seattle try their hardest to ignore the spectacle. In other words: as perfect an evocation of Capitol Hill, 2016 as you could ask for. Thanks, MTV!
