Affordable Housing at Capitol Hill Light Rail Station: At the site, Sound Transit says "21 percent of the more than 300 apartments will be affordable housing," according to KING 5. There are also plans for a farmer's market, and for another apartment building with about 84 units targeting those at the 60 percent area median income level. They'll be open in 2019. (Meantime, light rail ridership to UW set a new record during the spring.)

Police Discuss Drugging at Capitol Hill Bars: "Even with the fact that we don't have any active reports, that doesn't mean it's not happening," Seattle police captain Paul McDonagh told a meeting of the East Precinct Advisory Council. The council plans to set up an anonymous tip line to encourage reports, KING 5 reports.
