The New York Times just reported that this piece of shit casino in New Jersey got a humungous tax relief on long overdue taxes as soon as Chris Christie took office.
The news that this POS casino in New Jersey got a humungous tax relief after Chris Christie took office is only one of the few crazy Trump stories today. f11photo / Shutterstock.com

1) Trump's Taj Mahal casino resort in Atlantic City, NJ, owed $30 million in back taxes and interest by the time Chris Christie was elected governor. After six years in court, the New York Times reports, "New Jersey and the Trump casino company filed a settlement agreement with the court showing that the state would accept $5 million, paid in two installments, on a tab of about $30 million." A $25 million savings for the man who has everything. Must be nice!

2) Trump's campaign is going through another crazy leadership upheaval, and new guy's even crazier than the last two. He's Stephen Bannon, the chairman of Breitbart News, the right-wing "news" "source," a wealthy white douchebag with "swept-back blond hair and partiality to cargo shorts and flip-flops." His new title is CEO of Trump's campaign.

3) Trump has also promoted a pollster and unflappable TV talking head named Kellyanne Conway to "campaign manager." She's combative and she's good at not answering questions—so she must be good!

4) The Atlantic reports that in the midst of all of the above, Trump traveled to Wisconsin (where Ted Cruz won big) to lecture black folks on how they're wrong about their local police force:

Reportedly frustrated by [just demoted campaign manager] Paul Manafort’s attempts to impose message discipline upon him—apparently determined to win or lose speaking his own thoughts in his own words—Donald Trump has done two astonishing things in the past 24 hours. The first was to replace his former campaign CEO with the head of the provocative Breitbart website, Steve Bannon. The second was to travel to West Bend, Wisconsin, a city almost 95 percent white and 40 miles from Milwaukee, to “reach out” to black America by defending the police of Milwaukee against their critics.

That piece in the Atlantic is headlined "No One Is Doing More for Democratic Turnout than Donald Trump."
