The 46th annual Bumbershoot—which happens at Seattle Center September 2-4— has presented its day-by-day schedule, which you can view on our Bumbershoot event page. Friday's looking good on the local front with hiphop subversive DoNormaal, wry rockers Chastity Belt, power-pop pros STAG, and lush R&B unit Fly Moon Royalty. Further thrills can be found in profane hiphop provocateur Tyler, the Creator, orch-pop wiseguy Father John Misty, and sultry house duo Bob Moses.

Saturday looks good to me with post-rock moodists Explosions in the Sky, rap rabble-rousers Run the Jewels and rising stars Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Texas rock dynamos White Denim, and dulcet-voiced triphop revivalist Shaprece. Chuckleheads will swarming the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis set on this night, so be careful out there.

Sunday looms large with Stranger Genius nominee Erik Blood, emo-punk princess Lisa Prank, former Generation X frontman Billy Idol, Earth's funniest beatboxer, Reggie Watts, Aussie stadium psych-rockers Tame Impala, Death Cab for Cutie, frantic hard rockers So Pitted, and avant-jazz saxophone colossus Kamasi Washington. And while I've never cared for their music, Third Eye Blind are also playing, and they deserve props for creating the T-shirt sensation "RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU BELIEVE IN SCIENCE," proceeds of which go to the Hillary for America campaign. I'm all for mediocre rock, if it helps to keep Trump away from the Gold Codes.
