Suz: "I did put down originally that I was uncommitted on that sign-in form, 'cause I hate it when people try to schmooze me. I know what I believe. ... I agreed [with the] young woman who said was very intelligent and had a lot of experience as Secretary of State. But unfortunately, those are negatives as well as positives," says Suz. "[Bernie] is the only one who gets [climate change]. We are in such dire, dire shape ... but we can slow it down. ... Sanders' politics are the politics I've had my entire life as well. Those politics are what I believe, what I've always believed. The last couple years, I've felt a crisis of 'I'm not sure I believe anymore.' So it's been an utter joy to see so many energized."

Andrea, a Special-Ed teacher: "[Bernie] represents everything I stand for. I've been a teacher for over 10 years and I don't think Hillary's [stances] are priorities for the families and kids I work with," says Andrea. "I work in a Title I school, where a majority of our population gets free and reduced [priced] lunch. So they're from a lower socio-economic status. We probably have close to 100 students at [Oak Heights Elementary School in Edmonds] who are considered ELL [English Language Learners] population of 600 kids in the school. We're ethnically diverse, socio-economically diverse. I see their struggle day-to-day from healthcare to education to workers' rights. ... I went into education to help the people and I feel Bernie is going to do that."

Jessica, Hillary delegate for precinct 2133: "I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2014. I was a math major in Otto Miller Hall where the shooting happened in 2014. I am very close friends with a lot of the people affected by that," says Jessica. "I feel that Hillary has the most effective plan to [put limits on] gun control. is from Vermont. He does not have a very solid plan on how to change it. And that change needs to happen. I'm voting for Hillary because of that."

Whitney, Bernie delegate for 2133: "Bernie is the most progressive candidate. The most important thing now is campaign finance reform – without that, nothing changes. ... We have to get Citizens United overturned. It's outrageous." says Whitney. "His values reflect my values, whether it be voting rights or income equality. People are excited about Bernie. Democrats win when we get out the vote."

Linda: "I think if you put two resumes side-by-side, you want to consider the person who has the most experience, who has the most connections, and who, overall, has the most recommendations. That's Hillary. I'll vote for [Sanders] if he gets the nomination – I'll vote for whoever the Democrat is. But I think he will have even bigger problems than Obama had trying to work with the House and Senate," says Linda. "And honestly, of the good candidates, one of them is a woman. Our country is so far behind. I want to see us have a woman at the top."

Wesley: "Bernie is a populist and he is supporting the people. I am not interested in people who are supporting the Establishment anymore. I'm done with Establishment politics – they don't represent me. I shouldn't vote for someone who doesn't represent me. That's why I'm for Bernie. He's going to try to help the people and not his friends or his cronies or his businesses. It's about us the people."

David, a recent East Coast transplant: "I ended up leaning Bernie to begin and I ended up staying with Bernie," said David. "[I stayed] because of the passion of his supporters. I was leaning Bernie because I supported his ideas, but was unsure, with how politics are and how divisive it is, if a far left candidate could get anything done. But I think, between the two, he was the best option."
