Greetings. My name is Jeffrey Overstreet, and I am listed above as the featured reader at a Third Place Books event. I'm not sure where you got your information: I've written four novels, not two. And I'm reading from the latest, "The Ale Boy's Feast," which is the fourth and final novel in my series called The Auralia Thread. What you call a "film reviewing book" is a memoir of my years as a film critic. For more information, visit http://lookingcloser.org, where you can check your facts.
I went to Third Place Books with a list of 10 books I wanted to buy for a good deal. I found every one of the books on my list but the prices were outrageous! Not only were they not discounted but were more than new prices at Amazon or Barnes and Noble (including tax and shipping!). These were not the "latest" books, by any means, and many of the books I looked at were obviously used with "new" prices. I do not plan on going to this store again. Big disappointment and makes me a little angry.
