The rug pulled out from underneath; you lie on the floor

Wednesdays-Saturdays. Continues through Jan. 27 2013 This event has passed.   |   Free Hedreen Gallery, 901 12th Ave, 206-296-2244
The rug pulled out from underneath; you lie on the floor is an exploration of "gesture outside of gender" featuring a group of really interesting artists, including Dawn Cerny, Shaw Osha, Wynne Greenwood, Hanneline Rogeberg. The show is also also a series of writings collected in a zine printed on sunny yellow paper (you can take one away with you). These writings are like extra lights on the objects in the gallery; they don't tell you what to see but make things visible in different ways. This is your last chance: The closing reception is Fri Jan 25, 5-7 pm.
