One of Seattle's favorite music venues since the beginning of time (or at least grunge) got a swanky makeover back in 2009. The famously inconvenient post is no longer in the center of the room (it's been preserved, for hilarity's sake, off to the side), and there are skylights, a proper mezzanine, dark red walls, and marble countertops in the bathrooms. Also, a wood-fired pizza oven in the back bar means you can grab a slice. The Croc changed, but it's still a great place to see a show.
