MISS COCO PERU: THERE COMES A TIME

There comes a time in every young woman's life when she meets a man who's more of a lady than she'll ever be—a shockingly hilarious and accomplished drag queen who sings her insults instead of spits them. Miss Coco Peru is one such lady. Here, she answers life's most important question:

If you were forced to sing duets in hell for all eternity, who would you choose to be your duet partner?

"Although I don't like to share the spotlight, I'd choose my costar from the film Girls Will Be Girls, Evie Harris! Firstly, I'm already used to her stench of death, and secondly, since most of the time she'd either be passed out or fucking the Antichrist, I'd pretty much have the spotlight to myself." Re-bar, 7 pm, $15 adv/$20 DOS, 21+.

SUNDAY 10/16

KEITH LOWELL JENSEN: CATS MADE OF RABBITS

"I was in a truck stop in the South when I first saw one," begins comedian Keith Lowell Jensen when explaining the rabbity soft totems fast replacing jackalopes as popular roadside attractions. "They are very realistic-looking cats, like taxidermied house pets, only softer, because you realize that they're not cats—they're actually rabbits stitched together in cat form. And somehow we're okay with that—taking rabbits and making cats out of them." Much of Jensen's comedy follows this intelligent, creepy-cat format—i.e., progressive politics gussied up with jokes. Comedy Underground, 10 pm, $10, all ages.
