I'm sad for everyone at the P-I--even Regina. However, this is an interesting development for a woman who wrote such a venomous post about Farr's departure.

Hackett's assessment of Farr was not fearless or brave. It was mean and it made her look small.

It could go badly (newswriting, once a "real" profession, goes to something only for those with spare funds from elsewhere) or really well (entrepreneurial freed from the constraints of currently failing newspaper frameworks). I hope that for talents like Regina it is the latter.
