The writer's command of the language is well below par. Consider the orthography and vocabulary, specifically the semicolon in the second sentence of the second paragraph and the use of the word “salve”.

Among other details, both its brevity and form, typical of a bulletin or memorandum, as well as the formally of the first sentence which begins with “Your establishment...” further suggests the note is written by someone who is well educated.

From the summational phrase “... for which you can do nothing to prevent me”, though grammatically incorrect, is a tad bit over the top and histrionic. I'll admit that I'm playing amateur sleuth and psychologist here but I'd say this person has some seriously repressed “identity” issues.

I don't suppose anyone has pissed off a middle-aged mousey closet queen who has at least one Masters degree and who is stuck in a dead end middle management job lately?

I certainly stand shoulder to shoulder with the Tail-Gunners this time, this is nonsense. With all that is going on in the planet today, including plenty of people that could be dispatched without shedding a tear, this asshat has decided to threaten fruit-loops with ricin?

Ingestion doesn't guarantee fatal consequences.
Powder/spray is the worst, as is injection.
Likely it won't bother anyone if it's on a toilet seat or TP.
Does pure ricin dissolve in liquids? Otherwise, you might see the powder settling in the bottom of your glass or on the cubes.

Hey, be safe. Use condoms...stretch em over your glass!!!!! LOL...stick a straw through the latex, or, drink as is, from the reservoir tip! LOL...I hope I didn't just start some weird new pub trend....

In no way am I a criminologist. Considering that, my guess is that this is a very lonely man who had a girlfriend that palled around with alot of gay men. When the relationship ended, this man was looking to lay blame on someone. His infatuation with his ex has prevented him from removing her from the unhealthy pedastal on which he has placed her so he is looking for a scape goat.

Here is the running thought that may be going through his head:

"If it wasn't for those gay friends of hers, we would still be together and she would still love me."

This is my two cents.
