I understand that their are a huge amount of intolerant Christians, Jews, and Muslims (I bet their are intolerant atheists too) whene homosexuality is concerned, but their are also thousands of people of faith who are accept and respect homosexuals. Let's not paint everybody with such a wide brush.

Yes, the "Christians" sure showed those rude atheists by promptly stealing their sign and confirming everything that was written on it. That'll show 'em.

And next year they won't have any food to feed their families as the nation convulses in an economic death spasm, but they'll still have their phony war on Christmas!

Gov't money absolutely SHOULD NOT be used to put up a Christmas (sorry - "Holiday") tree, nativity scene, giant menorah, Hanukkah bush, whatever. However, the best way to protest this clear violation of church and state is not to put up a sign attacking something that people in this country have a right to hold dear. That's supposed to be the point; we are supposed to have the legal right to chose whether or not to be religious.

If the atheist group in question was at all respectable, they would have spent their time and energy trying to point out that the money used to put up religious holiday decorations should have been put towards something that benefits everyone, regardless of their religion, or whether or not they are religious.

Although singing in English doesn't necessarily mean success. Last year's winner sang in English, but the winner of the year before that was in Serbian and crushed.
