Not to mention the big dicked Schmader, though he must have banged someone else on the staff since he is ridiculously hairy (not Dan's type). So Dan, just how many inches does one need to get a job at The Stranger? roflmfao

I've used the expression "impossibly handsome" in reference to Asian dudes, European dudes, black dudes, etc. This guy wasn't the first Asian dude I've ever thought was hot—and there are gay Asian dudes in Seattle who can attest to that. And I've gushed over the insane hotness of porn director and bondage pro Van Darkholme—Japanese descent—more than once in "Savage Love."

Sorry if my choice of words rankled. No offense intended. I didn't mean to imply that the phenomenon of Asian male hotness was usually impossible. When I say that someone is impossibly hot I'm just registering my delight at encountering a guy whose beauty shocks me.

Dan--I love your feistiness. As a gay Asian male, I interpreted your description as you not having met another Asian male whom you found "impossibly handsome." Would you have described another Caucasian male is "impossibly handsome?"

For the record, I'm married to a more-than-possibly handsome Caucasian male in a relationship that is "non-monogamous in theory than we are in practice" similar to yours.

I probably shouldn't have focused my ire at you for your posting. It's just that during Pride month, I just feel that race relations in the LGBTQ hasn't progress as much as it should've. You go to bars, circuit parties or rallies, people seem to self-segregate.

Well, I'm babbling so I should stop at this point.

"I'm having the hardest time imagining an Irish accent from an Asian Irishman, though... . That would be fascinating. He should work just that for all it's worth."
Some of the posters here show the same backwards way of thinking. What is so amazing about an Asian guy speaking with a European accent? Americans are xenocentric in their thinking even with globalization flattening our world.
All you haters, relax and get over yourselves. I, for one, appreciated this non-serious, lighten-up posting of a beautiful man enjoying himself on vacation.

Straight girl in a 2+ year monogamous relationship...and I have no problem pointing out hot (to him) girls to my boyfriend. We understand that while we don't touch, we both can look. Where's the harm in that? We're committed, not blind or dead.

And if someone else has an agreement that some "touching" is allowed (they are not monogamous by joint consent), then why would that be anyone else's business? I'll never get that....

Troll taking such vehement exception I suspect suffers huge problems with jealousy and has been "burned" and carries a lot of hurt and pain and rage because of it. I expect it's someone who has a hard time controlling his/her own jealousy, so has to justify the intensity and rightness of it.

I feel sorry for you. I do. But it doesn't make it right. Your level of protest seems (I may be wrong) to have some relation to your own intense feelings. Jealousy at that level makes people act really badly. I don't mean here. But in your relationships.

I understand I may be making wrong assumptions and if so, I'm sorry. But it's a hunch based on how I've heard others with that problem talk. Jealousy can make people do really hurtful things. Just saying..

Whoa, psycho-troll.... Why is anyone else's personal life your business, let alone their FEELINGS of jealousy or security? Are you seriously saying that if someone doesn't feel secure enough to recognize that there are other attractive people in the world, that there's something wrong with them?

If that's the case, seriously doubt that your "volumes of research" are sound -- more likely your "volumes of research" include your own diaries & self-pitying hating.

And by the way -- it's not "cheating" if both partners agree to it. Cheating is about deception.

P.S. I am monogamous, always have been. I've been cheated on (much like it seems you have) and I am currently married and in a completely "closed" relationship. I am in no way poly, because it would never work for me -- but that doesn't mean it can't work for other people! The point is, troll, IT'S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. You and YOUR partner are your business. Me and MY parter are mine.

THE END.
