The plot is the same:

1) I'm a teen GenXer that is talented and no one understands.

2) I see a hot girl.

3) The hot girl recognizes that I'm so talented.

4) But then my car gets wrecked and I can't make a date.

5) Then aliens/robots/military brass recognize that I'm the "only one who can save humanity".

6) Therefore, they let me bring my iPod aboard the ship/robot/space age taxi.

7) All my cool friends are there.

8) All the Old People help us until they die and we take their jobs.

9) The hot chick punches the taller a-hole who is not cool even though she slept with him.

10) She decides that a dork cool guy is hotter and sleeps with me.

11) The end.
